“When I’m singing, everything that was inside of me for the last 66 years and everything that I believe and every emotion that I am feeling in my heart and my philosophy of life and my compassion toward people and the planet are all going to come out in one note,” she said in an interview. Zach Williams The Villager
“Kim Kalesti packages her bright octaves around an often vibrant, often haunting, repertoire. She's a straight-ahead singer who needn't and doesn't over-embellish her delivery with pretentious drama. No show and tell animation, just the succinct storytelling ability of a fine phraser. Stuart Troupe
"I became spellbound by Kim Kalesti new choral album release "For The Universe". I pondered deeply about how someone could possibly arrange such beauty and soul through notes and harmonies. I have now found the source". Tamati Patuwai
"You're like Charles Ives if he was a genius chick, wow, you're amazing, complex beautiful pieces. Pretty amazing, these choral tracks of yours are tremendous.
Bravo Kim Kalesti". Martin Olson

I grew up in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. I used to sing along with the phonograph record player. My favorite thing was to sing outside when I was swinging on the swing set my Dad made for us in the back yard. My Mother made the costumes, the dance teacher's mother organized many show and events in town. The Stars of Tomorrow a the local school auditorium, City of Pueblo theater productions, The King and I, Channel 5 television shows, radio program, hospitals, senior centers, the Colorado State Fair. I won the VFW talent contest and sang with the Pueblo Symphony Choir when I was twelve. I love singing. I still love to sing. There is so much history you might not find it here on my site. It's so ever whelming. I hope to get around to writing more soon. Thank you for looking at my page.
